Chester Hedgepeth, MD, PhD, serves as executive chief of cardiology for Care New England, as well as chief of cardiology at Kent Hospital. Dr. Hedgepeth is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology and has a special interest in the management of cardiac arrhythmias and congestive heart failure. Lauralyn B. Cannistra, MD, is on staff at Kent Hospital as well as part of Brigham and Women’s Cardiovascular Associates at Care New England. Board certified in cardiology and echocardiography, Dr. Cannistra specializes in noninvasive and consultative cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation. She is also a clinical associate professor of medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
