Interventional Cardiology

They also participate in groundbreaking research and device studies, which means they understand the latest evidence-based cardiovascular medicine and can offer advanced diagnostic techniques and treatment approaches that combine minimally invasive catheter insertions and heart valve replacements with surgical procedures.

Cardiac & Vascular Surgery

The cardiac and vascular surgery team works alongside experts at Brigham and Women’s Cardiovascular Associates at Care New England to provide integrated and collaborative care. They participate in cardiovascular research and clinical trials, which gives them experience with new approaches for effectively treating your heart condition.

Women’s Heart Health

Symptoms of heart disease in women can be dramatically different from those associated with men, and for that reason, treatment should be different as well. Women’s Heart Health of Women & Infants Hospital, part of Care New England Cardiovascular Care, offers a team of well-trained, highly experienced, board-certified cardiologists, specialized cardiovascular nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and technical support staff, who provide compassionate, high-quality care, specifically with women in mind.

Cardiac Rehabilitation

Under the direction of a board-certified cardiologist, the Cardiac Rehab program in Warwick is a medically supervised, customized outpatient exercise and education program.  It is designed to improve health for patients who have experienced a heart attack, heart failure, angioplasty, or heart surgery.

Congestive Heart Failure Population Health Management

Care New England was awarded a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation Grant to develop a system-wide infrastructure that allows for improved communication and technology use between providers related to the care of patients with congestive heart failure. The goal of the program is to reduce hospital readmissions for congestive heart failure.
