The Breast Health Center at Kent Hospital Celebrates 10 Years

WARWICK, R.I. - The Breast Health Center at Kent Hospital is celebrating 10 years as a leader in breast health. To mark the anniversary, the Center is selling t-shirts, hoodies and shopping bags, online, for the entire month of August. All proceeds will benefit The Breast Health Center at Kent Hospital.

The Breast Health Center at Kent Hospital draws on the expertise of specialty-trained physicians who are national leaders in breast health. The quality and level of care brought to this collaboration by Women & Infants enhances and broadens Kent Hospital’s commitment to providing its patients with access to the best possible care in this region.

“I am proud to celebrate this milestone anniversary, along with the dedicated staff at the Breast Health Center, who make this all possible. Patients should be reminded that instead of traveling to Boston, or even Providence, those seeking expert medical advice and cutting-edge treatment can find it right here in their own backyard, here at the Breast Health Center at Kent Hospital,” said Robert J. Haffey, President and COO, Kent Hospital.

“The amazing work we do here at The Breast Health Center at Kent Hospital, is helping women stay healthy by having their annual mammograms, catching breast cancer early, and offering life-saving treatment, which brings a tremendous amount of meaning to me personally, as well as professionally. I could not be more proud to lead our team of breast surgeons, medical oncologists, plastic surgeons, genetic counselors, nurse navigators and social workers, who all work together to make sure the patient is our first priority,” said Jamie B. Patterson, MD, Medical Director, The Breast Health Center at Kent Hospital.
