Effective October 4, 2025, Care New England launched MyChart across its hospital system. With this change, new rules will take effect regarding parental/guardian proxy access to adolescent health information.

Parent/guardian access will automatically shift to limited access (regardless of previous full access).
Parent and Adolescent may:
- Jointly consent to grant full proxy access to both parent and adolescent

16-17
|
Parent/guardian access will automatically shift to limited access (regardless of previous full access).
Adolescents may:
- Consent to grant full proxy access to parents
- Enroll in their own MyChart account without parental consent
