Top Doctors Across Multiple Specialties Reflect Care New England’s Range of Care
Providence, RI — Care New England is proud to announce that several of its physicians have been named to Rhode Island Monthly’s 2026 “Top Doctors” list, recognizing excellence in clinical care, patient experience, and leadership across a range of specialties.
“This recognition reflects what our patients and communities experience every day: physicians who are deeply committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care,” said Roger D. Mitty, MD, MBA, President and Chief Operating Officer, Care New England Medical Group. “It also speaks to the strength of our teams and the collaborative approach we bring to every patient we serve.”
The annual list is based on peer nominations from physicians across Rhode Island, who identify colleagues they would trust to care for their family and friends. Selections reflect clinical expertise, professionalism, and dedication to patient care.
Care New England physicians were recognized in leading specialties such as gynecologic oncology, breast cancer surgery, and general surgery, underscoring the system’s comprehensive approach to advanced, patient-centered care.
