  • Pediatric Patients: 1 parent/guardian allowed at all times

Infection Control

  • COVID-19 Patients: Limited visitation, case-by-case. Visitors must sign a waiver and wear full PPE (N95 mask, gown, face shield, gloves).
  • Isolation Rooms: Check with the nurse for required PPE before entering.
  • Use hand sanitizer before entering and exiting patient rooms.
  • Practice good cough etiquette while on campus.

Restrictions

  • Visitation may be limited or suspended:
    • At the patient’s request or for safety reasons (e.g., infection risk, violent behavior, law enforcement custody).
    • During emergencies, strict isolation, or quarantine.
    • If it disrupts patient care or hospital operations.

Kent Hospital may update this policy as needed to best support the health and safety of our patients, staff, and community.
