Your Partner in Health
At Care New England our nurses are at the forefront of the care that our organizations provide to the patients, families and communities we serve. As we move forward on our journey to navigate in this rapidly changing health care environment, it is critical that we acknowledge the important leadership role our nurses play in helping further population health and make the most of each and every encounter with patients and their families.
Across Care New England, nurses are coming together and going above and beyond to create and advance programs to support population health. Our nurses work in concert with senior leadership, fellow clinicians and other employees, and are helping to pave the way to improved clinical collaboration and expanding their roles as partners in the continuum of care for the patients we serve.
If you are looking for a new focus or want to take your nursing career to the next level, Care New England might be the answer. Nursing positions in Rhode Island are available in a variety of settings.Search Opportunities
Five Questions with Chief Nursing Officer, Angelleen
Angelleen Peters-Lewis, RN, PhD, senior vice president and chief nursing officer for Care New England, was interviewed by the Providence Business News for its “Five Questions” segment earlier this month.
The questions focused on the strategy behind CNE’s creation of a systemwide
chief nursing officer position, how decreasing enrollment in nursing programs is
having an impact on CNE, and the legislative challenges Care New England faced this year
around the use of traveling nurses and proposed implementation of nurse staffing ratios.
