Job Description
Responsible for administrative organization and day-to-day functioning of the project, financial and grant reporting, and community administrative liaison activities. Works with project members to ensure effective communication, cooperation, and continuity of direction. Interacts with team staff with respect to planning, implementation, and evaluation of specific grant-related activities. Directs data collection and transmission of information between the Hospital and designated sites. Responsible for achieving project goals, including recruitment and maintaining adequate working relations with the other study sites. Provides project coordination services, including attending and taking notes at all internal and study meetings, tracks and coordinates site visits, organizes monthly report production, including editing, formatting and uploading. Meets on a routine basis with the Director/Principal Investigator, support staff, and Executive Committee. Established and maintains study records. Completes grant application forms and properly organizes documents for distribution. Analyzes data and produces reports for Director/Principal Investigator. Assists with program planning and development. Assists Director/Principal Investigator in the preparation of progress reports and renewal grants and assists in the development of new proposals. Plans and coordinates special events. Provides direct facilitation of transformation efforts with contracted primary care practices. Travels off-site as required. Performs related duties as required.
Experience

 

2-5 years' experience in practice facilitation preferred

Must hold valid driver's license for site visits

Special Qualifications

 

Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with peers / other disciplines

Competency in experimental design, health services research, and program evaluation and methodology

Understanding of clinical investigation, data management and clinical trials

Understanding of goals and objectives of the research program

Ability to delegate effectively

Organizational and priority setting skills

Problem solving and decision making skills

Skilled in oral and written communications.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of grant management, budgeting, and accounting practices and procedures.

Physical Requirements

 

Lifting up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as files, books, etc.

Involves sitting, walking, stooping, and reaching.

Ability to sit for extended periods

Manual dexterity and motor coordination

Required Education
BA or BS, with relevant experience in social science or health care policy;MPH preferred. 2-5 year's experience in practice facilitation preferred. Must hold valid driver's license for site visits.
