Care New England Continues to Expand Primary Care and Family Medicine Services

Care New England Medical Group’s Primary Care and Family Medicine program is expanding its clinical services with the addition of two physicians. Their primary hospital affiliation is Kent Hospital and the physicians will see patients in both their Pawtucket and West Warwick offices.

Care New England (CNE) welcomes Benjamin R. Adler, MD, board certified in family medicine and specializing in family medicine and obstetrics, and Mary Beth Sutter, MD, director of maternal and child health, board certified in family medicine. These experts provide a full range of services for the whole family - from prenatal and newborn care to geriatrics.

Adler and Sutter to CNE Primary Care. Their clinical expertise will allow us to further provide and ensure exceptional primary care that meets the highest standards for quality, service, and access,” said James E. Benjamin R. Adler, MD                             
Benjamin R. Adler, MD, is board certified in family medicine and specializes in family medicine and obstetrics. He earned his medical degree from University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed a residency at the Tufts University Family Medicine Residency program. As part of a compassionate team of health care professionals, Dr. Adler provides a full range of services for the whole family – including prenatal care and delivering babies, newborn and pediatric care, acute illnesses, mental health and addiction care, as well as LGBTQ health. Dr. Adler will see patients in his West Warwick office.

Mary Beth Sutter, MD
Mary Beth Sutter, MD, director of maternal and child health, is board certified in family medicine. She received her medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and completed a family medicine residency at Brown University/Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. Dr. Sutter went on to complete a fellowship in maternal, child, and reproductive Health at University of New Mexico. In addition to her leadership role at CNE, Dr. Sutter serves as assistant professor of family medicine and is the maternal child health director for the Brown Family Medicine Residency program. Dr. Sutter has special interests in women’s health, maternity and newborn care, breastfeeding, and substance use disorder in pregnancy and parenting. Dr. Sutter will see patients in her Pawtucket office.
