This 13-hour course will provide health care professionals with the knowledge and skills of advanced cardiac life support. The course consists of a series of lectures and performance stations as well as stations for evaluating practical skills and cognitive abilities. Topics include airway adjuncts and intubation, arrhythmia recognition and defibrillation, cardiac pharmacology and cardiac algorithms.
