Having weight loss surgery is a big decision. That's why we offer two ways for you to get answers to your questions before deciding if this is right for you.
Our free online webinar is the first step towards easily finding the answers to your questions, all from the privacy of your own home. By participating in the free webinar, led by Dr. Jeannine Giovanni, director of bariatric surgery at Care New England, you’ll learn more about the considerations of surgical weight loss, get to know Care New England’s expert bariatric team, and take the first steps to start your journey to a healthier life.
Watching the online webinar and answering the follow-up questions is the first step. We’ll then invite you to schedule an in-person consultation at Care New England’s Center for Surgical Weight Loss in Warwick, RI. We still offer our in-person seminars as an alternative, but attendance is not required when you participate in the webinar.
How to participate in the webinar
- Click here to begin the process.
- Select green button ‘Take this course.’
- Select ‘Register.’
- You’ll be prompted to create an account; all information is kept confidential. You’ll then be able to log-in to the webinar.

If you are unable to access the Internet from your home or if you are having technical difficulties, you are welcome to stop by the Center for Surgical Weight Loss office in Warwick. Private computers are available to watch the webinar and staff is on-site to assist with any questions. Once completed you’ll be able to schedule a consultation appointment.
