The Kent Hospital Auxiliary is proud to announce its 14th annual golf tournament held on July 11, 2011, raised more than $38,000 for Kent Hospital. The event which hosted 128 golfers was held at Potowomut Golf Club in Warwick. The money raised will help fund renovations to the Wound Recovery and Hyperbaric Medicine Center at Kent.
“This year’s golf tournament was such a huge success and an enjoyable day for all who participated,” said Sandra L. Coletta, president and CEO of Kent Hospital. “The Auxiliary put together an outstanding event for all and the contributions from players and sponsors will help The Wound Recovery and Hyperbaric Medicine Center continue to build upon its excellence in patient care.”
Congratulations to all of the golf tournament winners and great thanks to tournament sponsors and special guests Frank Carpano, sports anchor for WJAR- NBC 10 sports, and former Providence College basketball standout and new member of the NBA's New Jersey Nets, MarShon Brooks.
The Kent Hospital Auxiliary has been an integral part of the Kent Hospital community for 60 years, raising millions of dollars and donating thousands of hours to the hospital.
