What are multi-drug resistant organisms (MDRO)?
Multi-drug resistant organisms (MDRO) are germs that are resistant to one or more classes of antibiotics. The most common multi-drug resistant organisms include:
- Methicillin-resistant Staph aureus (MRSA)
- Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE).
- Clostidium Difficile (C. diff).
