LauraLaura is a clinical social worker with 27 years of experience helping patients through difficult life circumstances. In December of 2000, she was faced with her own struggle when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She suddenly found herself turning to the tools and skills she had taught patients over the years in order to cope with her own diagnosis and treatment. Ultimately, Laura emerged with a new perspective on the effect serious health problems can have on mental and emotional health.
