Once selected for one of our Workforce Development Programs, the candidate will go through a comprehensive onboarding process to prepare you to work with us. The onboarding process includes the interview and assessment, orientation to system wide practices and policies and other tests, and training. This process must be completed within three to four weeks.
Before you start, you will complete the following:
Health screening which includes two current TB tests and immunization screening; annual flu shot is required of all participants unless medically contraindicated per physician documentation.
Criminal background check.
Orientation to hospital wide policies and practices.
Customer service overview.
Additional classroom training for some positions, as indicated in recruitment information.
Workforce Development program staff will guide you in the intake process, supported by other staff and system resources.
