37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with weekend and holiday rotation
Assist Clinical Management team in providing day to day clinical triage coverage and project developement. Serves as a liaison with clinical staff, physicians and patients by assisting in the triage of clinical concerns, providing guidance to staff, patients, assisting with physician orders, speaking with primary care physicians and referral sources. Assists Clinical Manager in the coordination of assignments as necessary and serves as a resource for the team members and other departments on clinical and departmental issues.
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required, currently licensed in the state of RI. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. EXPERIENCE: Minimum total of two (2) to three (3) years nursing experience in a home care environment. Minimum of two (2) years clinical nursing experience in a medical/surgical or acute care environment. Previous experience within specific clinical area, based on assignment, preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as medical records, medical reports, etc. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to speak, read, and write English with excellent oral and written communication skills required. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Must be able to deal with several abstract and concrete variables. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS Must possess valid RI State Board of Nursing license, a valid driver’s license and current automobile liability insurance. Must be CPR certified.
