Job Description
Responsible for filling special dietary goods requisitions, and Day Hospital requisitions. Responsible for the production of the breakfast meal on weekends to be served at stated time in specified quantity and quality. Helps with preparation of salad bar and sandwich items. Responsible for assisting Food Service Director, Chef, or Assistant Chef during the breakfast and noon meal. Responsible for assisting in the setup and delivery of special functions. Responsible for the preparation of evening snack times. Knows operation of certain equipment, i.e. ovens, grills, mixer, fryolator, food chopper, steamer, steam kettle, range, slicer, broiler, garbage hopper, and scale.
Required Education
High school diploma and training or experience in food service preferred but not required
