Job Description
The Senior Clinical Analyst is the primary application support and the Senior contact for specific Epic application(s). Works in conjunction with others on the application team to coordinate all system issues that arise during the use of the application(s) by physician offices and hospital based clinics. Knowledgeable about the procedures, workflows, and business operations within the end users organizations. The Senior analyst has in-depth knowledge of the software and serves as the liaison between the end users, vendors, and other IS support teams.
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree required preferably in Computer Science or related field or graduate of an accredited professional nursing program, with three to five years experience as a Programmer Analyst, Support Analyst, or related position, preferably in a health care and/or hospital environment. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills required. Familiarity with a structured query language, UNIX and Microsoft platforms preferred. Experience in project management and presentation skills preferred. Knowledge of healthcare terminology. Must be Epic certified or ability to obtain certification within a specified time frame established by management team.
