The Insurance Assistant provides administrative support to the Department such as preparing correspondence in final form, gathering insurance data for application and statistical reports. Duties require a thorough knowledge of supervisor’s area of responsibility, to serve as a resource for department and to conduct special projects.
High school graduate with at least one year of college, business school or insurance designation. Three to four years working experience; with at least one year of Property and Liability insurance background as well as some legal background preferred. Candidate must have excellent administrative skills as well as strong communication, interpersonal and MS Word and Excel skills. Must be fluent in the English language.
