Registered Nurse - Teen Assertive Community Team/Young Adult Health Home ***Sign on bonus available

Will provide nursing services for children ages 12 -21 with mental health and/or co-occurring disorders in DCYF as a part of the enhanced Teen Assertive Community Treatment Team (TACT) which serves clients and their families in the greater Providence area. Will assess, plan, develop, coordinate, and provide treatment and supportive services to children with mental health issues and their families. Services will be provided in the community.
Coordinate services for consumers to minimize stressors and to facilitate the reduction of psychiatric and substance abuse disorder symptoms. Encourage consumers to attain the highest possible levels of independence through providing outpatient psychotherapy either at The Center or in the community.

Bilingual Spanish preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before team members and other employees and have the capacity to work with other community agencies.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Must have valid driver's license and insured auto.
